• <br />Regular Meeting 4/18/77 8 <br />• <br />18. CORRESPONDENCE - A notice of the Harris County Mayors and <br />Councilmens Association dinner meeting to be held April 21, <br />1977, was read. <br />+ + + <br />19. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - COMMIBBIONER CLINE - <br />Commissioner Cline stated that there were possibly going <br />to be some problems in the street closing request of the <br />St. Mary's Church, because of utility locations. <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR - Mr. Shepherd requested an <br />executive session with the Commission. <br />PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR - Mr. Sherwood invited the <br />Commission to attend the ribbon cutting ceremonies at the <br />Fairmont Park Recreation Facility at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, <br />April 23, 1977. Mayor Meza requested that the local ministers <br />be invited to the ceremonies. <br />• BUSCH, HUTCHISON & ASSOCIATES - Mr. Corbin stated that he and <br />Mr. Hutchison had met with the Board of Supervisors of the <br />Bayshore Municipal Utility District to discuss tieing into <br />our sewage system. It was determined that when our new <br />treatment plant was completed, we would have adequate capacity <br />to do this. <br />Mr. Busch stated that he and the Mayor had met with the <br />Texas Water Quality Board and the City had been granted <br />the permit for the site for the new system. <br />+ + + <br />20. EXECUTIVE SESSION - V.A.T.S. - ARTICLE 6252-17 - SECTION 2 - <br />(E) AND (G) - (LITIGATION AND PERSONNEL)- Motion by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Tomerlin <br />that the meeting recess for an executive session. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />The meeting recessed at 7:53 P.M. <br />. The meeting reconvened at 9:05 P.M. <br />+ + + <br />
