• <br />• Regular Meeting 6/20/77 <br />16. CORRESPONDENCE - Mayor Meza read a letter from La Porte <br />Independent School District written to the Texas Water <br />Quality Board in support of La Porte's grant application <br />to improve the sanitary sewer system. A copy of the <br />letter is attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />+ + + <br />17. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - Mayor Meza informed <br />the Commission of a request for a street light by the <br />New Jerusalem Church. <br />Commissioner Simons asked if the Architect had contact <br />the City regarding the proposed police station. No <br />additional contact has been made by the Architect. <br />Dave Corbin informed the Commission of an organizational <br />meeting to be held at the Chamber of Commerce Building <br />at 1:15 P.M., on June 21, 1977, for the hearing in Austin <br />before the Water Quality Board. <br />r~ <br />L J <br />+ + + <br />8 <br />18. ADJOURNMENT - Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux that the meeting adjourn.
