JOINT PUBLIC HEARING (CONTINUED) <br />Mr. Phillips made a brief presentation, showing the plans and <br />a brief lay -out of the proposed project. <br />3 <br />Mr. Carl Lyons - 1914 Crescent Shores - was recognized and <br />asked if the apartment project would be a government subsidized <br />project? Mr. Lyons was informed that the project had secured <br />conventional financing. <br />Mayor Meza asked if there was anyone desiring to speak in <br />opposition to the project? There was none. <br />Motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to rezone 2.8818 acre tract, Tidewood Subdivision <br />420 Feet North of Mc Cabe Road Facing Highway 146, Wm. P. <br />Harris Survey A-30, Harris County, Texas, from Residential <br />to "C" Apartment and Commercial, as recommended by the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission, it be specifically for the <br />project as presented; if a building permit had not been <br />issued within two years of the rezoning date, the property <br />• will revert back to the R-1 classification. Motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES REGULAR MEETING - FEBRUARY 6, 1978 - <br />Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held <br />February 6, 1978, as presented. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />0 <br />
