• Regular Meeting 3/6/78 <br />24. CORRESPONDENCE - None. <br />+ + + <br />11 <br />25. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - Commissioners Kibodeaux, <br />and Simons requested an executive session. <br />Commissioner Cline - asked for discussion on the need for <br />painting and repair to the water towers. <br />After a brief discussion, it was determined that the Engineer <br />could get price estimates and start preparing plans and <br />specifications for painting and repairing the elevated water <br />towers. <br />Community Development Fund Grant - Commissioner Cline informed <br />the Commission t at a list of streets to be considered for the <br />Community Development Fund Grant had been prepared and <br />distributed for each of the Commissioners. Further stating <br />that the list did not include all the streets that needed work, <br />• only the ones that are in need of immediate attention. A copy <br />of said list is attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />+ + + <br />26. AMBULANCE SER VICE - John Paul Zemanek was recognized and <br />stated his concern for the possible lack of ambulance service <br />after March 15, 1978. <br />There was a brief discussion regarding the needed information <br />requested by the Auditor from Mr. Carpenter on the Ambulance <br />Service. The Commission would continue to try and resolve the <br />situation. <br />+ + + <br />27. EXECUTIVE SESSION - V.A.T.S. - ARTICLE 6252-17 - SECTION 2 - <br />(E) AND (G) - (LITIGATION AND PERSONNEL) - Motion by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Cline that the meeting recess <br />for an executive session. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />• AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons <br />NAYS: None. <br />The meeting recessed at 8:25 P.M. <br />+ + + <br />
