• Special Meeting 4/10/78 2 <br />3. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO NEW CITY OFFICIALS - <br />I. J. KIBODEAUX - COMMISSIONER, POSITION NO. 2 <br />TOM C. SIMONS - COMMISSIONER, POSITION N0. 4 - Judge <br />J. B. Williamson administered the oath of office to both <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux and Commissioner Simons simultaneously. <br />Certificates of Election were presented to both Commissioners. <br />J. J. MEZA - MAYOR - Judge J. B. Williamson administered the <br />oath of office to Mayor Meza and presented a Certificate of <br />Election to him. <br />The newly elected officials were reseated. <br />Commissioner Simons expressed appreciation to ever_y_one, <br />especially his wife and son. <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux expressed appreciation to everyone <br />that supported him; stating that he would try to work for <br />all the citizens. A special thanks to his wife, Ruth. <br />Mayor Meza expressed his appreciation to all the citizens <br />• for voting, showing their interest and concern for the <br />City. A special thanks to Dottie Kaminski, Mr. and Mrs. <br />Riley, his Aunt and Uncle, City employees and friends; <br />especially his wife, Patsy, and family. <br />Mayor Meza invited everyone present to attend a reception <br />at the Civic Center. <br />+ + + <br />4. ADJOURNMENT - Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux that the meeting adjourn.
