ORDINANCE N0. 915-~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-A-3 OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER <br />18-A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS; AND APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CONTINENTAL OIL <br />COMPANY DATED JULY 20, 1978, TO CONSTRUCT AN EIGHT-INCH <br />ETHYLENE PIPE LINE, AND TO CONSTRUCT A SIX-INCH ETHANE <br />PIPE LINE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br />Section 1. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />has received an application dated July 20, 1978, from <br />Continental Oil Company, requesting a permit under Section <br />18-A-3 of Ordinance No. 915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code <br />of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, to construct an <br />eight-inch ethylene pipe line crossing the City of La Porte, <br />and to construct a six-inch ethane pipe line crossing the <br />City of La Porte, all as shown on said application. The <br />application of Continental Oil Company has been reviewed by <br />the City's Director of Public Works, who has found that said <br />application meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, <br />and has recommended its approval. <br />Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />hereby approves the application of Continental Oil Company, <br />dated July 20, 1978, and this'Ordinance shall constitute <br />a permit to Continental Oil Company to lay and construct <br />said pipe line within the City of La Porte, all in conform- <br />ance with the requirements of said Ordinance No. 915. <br />• Section 3.
