APPROVAL OF MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING, :TANUP,RY 10, 1979, <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING, JANUARY 1'7, '1979, AND 'SPECIAL MEETING, <br />JANUARY 17, 1979 - Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by <br />Commissioner Simons to approve the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of January 10, 1979, the Joint Public Hearing of <br />January 17, 1979, and the special meeting of January 17, <br />1979, as presented. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />4. CONSIDER ACCEPTING ZINGERY MAP COMPANY PROPOSAL - After <br />a brief discussion, motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded <br />by Commissioner Cline to accept the recommendation of the <br />City Administrator and accept the proposal of Zingery Map Company <br />to develop a map system for the City, at a cost of $2.50 per <br />parcel. A copy of the recommendation and proposal is attached <br />and made a part of these minutes. Motion carried by the following <br />. vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />5. CONSIDER APPROVING PROPO'SED'OR'DINANCE NO. 664-H' - 'AN AMENDMENT <br />TO'THE ELECTRICAL 'ORDINANCE - After the proposed ordinance was <br />read in full, motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner <br />Tomerlin to approve Ordinance No. 664-H. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE 664, BY <br />ADDING A PROVISION REQUIRING THAT A MASTER ELECTRICIAN WHO IS <br />EMPLOYED BY AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING FIRM BE EMPLOYED BY ONLY <br />ONE FIRM AND THAT HIS EMPLOYMENT BE FULL TIME; PROVIDING THAT <br />ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED <br />GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE'FINED IN ANY <br />SUM NOT EXCEEDING TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00); AND PROVIDING <br />• AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br />
