CONSIDER FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF UTILITIES IN GLEN MEADOWS, SECTION I - Motion by Commissioner Kibo eaux, seconded y Commissioner C ine to accept the recommendation of the City Administrator and approve the utilities for final acceptance by the City for Glen Meadows, Section I. A copy of the recommendation is attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. NAYS: None. + + + 9. CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 1143-- ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF 17TH STREET LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTH'RIGHT-OF'-WAY LINE OF WEST "C" STREET AND THE NORTH RIGHT-OF'-WA `LINE OF WEST D "STREET'- FRANK MOHN, HOUSTON, INC. - It was determine that all the necessary paper work had been completed and fees paid. After the proposed ordinance was read in full, motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve Ordinance No. 1143 as read. • Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. NAYS: None. CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE PORTION OF SOUTH SEVENTEENTH (17TH) STREET LYING WITHIN THE AREA BOUNDED BY WEST "C" STREET AND WEST "D" STREET, AND BETWEEN BLOCK SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-SEVEN (787) AND BLOCK SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT (788), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. + + + 10. CONSIDER APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH HOUSTON PORT AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING SUPPORT FIRE SERVICES AT BARBOUR'S CUT TERMINAL - After a discussion regarding t e proposed agreement, motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner Cline to table approving the agreement with Houston Port Authority for support fire services at Barbour's Cut Terminal for further study.
