ADMINISTRAfiIVE REPORTS - The Administrator informed the <br />Commission of a memo from the Director of Parks & Recreation <br />regarding the availability of a 1965 GMC 45-passenger bus <br />through Texas Surplus Properties, at a cost of $575.00. <br />Because of the growth of senior citizens and the success of <br />the Nutrition Center, there was a need for additional transportation. <br />There was a general discussion regarding the costs involved in <br />painting, tires, interior repair and the fact that the bus was not <br />air conditioned. It was determined that the Shop Superintendent, <br />Mr. Bob Kendle would go and inspect the bus and make a recommenda- <br />tion before the purchase could be made. If the City was not <br />going to purchase the bus, there were other entities interested <br />that were on the waiting list. <br />The Administrator requested an executive session for a <br />contractural matter. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />15. EXECUTIVE SESSION - V.A.T.S. - ARTICLE 6252-17 - SECTION 2 - <br />(E , (F), AND (G) - (LEGAL, LAND ACQUISITION AND PERSONNEL) - <br />Motion by Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded y Commissioner <br />Tomerlin that the meeting recess for an executive session. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />The meeting recessed at 8:00 P.M. <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:00 P.M. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
