CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE N0. 1154 - ORDINANCE <br />APPOINTING PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION - Commissioner <br />Simons state that he elt the Plann nin g & Zoning Commission <br />had done an excellent job and should all be reappointed. <br />Motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner Cline <br />to approve Ordinance No. 1154 as read. Motion carried as <br />follows: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION, AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br />13. CONSIDER INCREASE IN CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S SALARY - Commissioner <br />• Tomerlin stated that following the review, after completion of <br />one years service, moved that the City Administrator's salary <br />be increased by $2,500.00 per year. Motion seconded. by Commis- <br />sioner Cline. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />14. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS - The Administrator requested an <br />executive session to discuss legal and contractural matters. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />15. COUNCIL ACTION - Commissioner Cline stated that she was happy <br />to have won her reelection. She stated that she felt the <br />entire Commission had worked together and. had been able to <br />accomplish a number of things. She further pointed out that <br />there was not one single person that could take the responsibility <br />for getting any one thing done. When the Commission feels there <br />is a need, the Commission votes together and they get it done. <br />
