CONSIDER AUTHORIZING TWENTY-FOUR STREET LIGHTS IN FAIRMONT PARK WEST, SECTION 5 - Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by Commissioner Simons to authorize twenty-four street lights in Fairmont Park West, Section 5. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. NAYS: None. + + + 15. CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 1177 - ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 168, LA PORTE - PUFFER SWEIVEN - It was determined that all the necessary information had been completed and the checks had been received from Puffer Sweiven in the amount of $10,800.00 representing easement value. After the proposed ordinance was read in full, motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve Ordinance No. 1177 as read. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. NAYS: None. CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT (168), IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. + + + 16. CONSIDER APPROVING PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 1178 - ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 716, LA PORTE - MR. L. H. r-1C KEY - It was determined that all the necessary information had been completed and the check had been received from Mr. L. H. Mc Key in the amount of $9,450.00 representing easement value. After the proposed ordinance was read in full, motion by Commissioner Tomerlin, seconded by Commissioner Cline to approve Ordinance No. 1178 as read. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Tomerlin, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. NAYS: None.
