Hudgens <br />FROM: H F Freeman, Jr <br />SUBJECT: Bids on Police-Patrol Vehicles <br />DATE: March 3, 1980 <br />In this fiscal year's budget the Police Department-Patrol Division <br />budgeted $29,688.00 dollars for the purchase of four (4) patrol vehicles. <br />The bids received on these vehicles at the council meeting of Feb 27, 1980 <br />were as follows: <br />Vinson Dodge 7186.69 ea. $28,746.76 <br />Joe Camp Ford 7212.17 ea. ~ 28~gy,g~68 <br />Jay Marks Chevrolet 7406.22~ea. 29,624.88 <br />Alternatives to the bid included were: None <br />After evaluating the bids, I recommend that the bid of Joe Camp Ford <br />be accepted in the amount of 7212.17 each or $28,848.68.
