•
CITY OF LA PORTS

•
INTER-OFFICE h1Ef40RANDUM
T0: DATE:
Planning and Zoning Commission
FROM:
D. A. Paulissen, City Inspector
SUBJECT : placement of Portable Buildings
Fairmont Park Baptist Church
Commissioners,
March 18, 1980
Enclosed are copies of a written application for the placement of two portable
buildings at 10441 Belfast, home of Fairmont Park Baptist Church. Under our
zoning ordinance portable buildings are normally allowed in a commercial '
zone for temporary construction purposes only. These buildings are only to be
used until such time as the new proposed sanctuary is constructed.
Also enclosed are copies of an approval by the Fairmont Park Homes Association.
to allow these buildings.
These buildings are built to conform to all the city building codes and present
no problems with this office or the office of the Fire Marshal.
In light of recent congregation growth the church is in need of additional
classroom space and would request your consideration of a variance to allow
their temporary use.
Respectfully,
~Q ~
D. A. Paulissen
enclosure
•
