• <br />r <br />c <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1194_ <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE MAYOR OF LOMAX VOICE WITHOUT VOTE <br />IN CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS UNTIL THE ELECTION OF APRIL, 1981; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br />Section 1. The consolidation of the City of Lomax with the <br />City of La Porte has heretofore been approved by the electorate <br />of each of said cities. Norman L. Malone was elected Mayor of <br />the City of Lomax at an election on April 5, 1980. <br />Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />hereby grants Norman L. Malone, Mayor of the City of Lomax, <br />voice without vote in City Commission meetings, until the <br />election of April, 1981. <br />La Porte business. <br />Section 3. Norman L. Malone shall receive for his services, <br />a salary of One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00) per <br />year, payable in monthly installments of One Hundred Dollars <br />($100.00) each, and shall be entitled to the reimbursement of <br />his reasonable expenses incurred in connection with City of <br />Section 4.
