Meza, <br />Commissioners John Tomerlin, I. J. Kibodeaux, Virginia Cline, <br />Tom C. Simons, and Norman Mallone. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: James R. Hudgens, City Administrator, <br />Betty Blackmon, Acting City Clerk; H. F. Freeman, Police Chief; <br />Jack Burks, Public Works Director; Knox Askins, City Attorney; <br />Stan Sherwood, Farks and Recreation Director; D. R. McLaughlin, <br />• Fire Marshall; Paul Hickenbottorn, Asst. Meza. <br />+ + + <br />1. CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Mayor Meza. <br />+ + + <br />2. CONSIDER REQUIREMENTS AND AUTHORIZATIONS RELATED TO THE <br />2,000,000 OF CITY OF LOMAX BOND5 - Mr. Askins state the <br />need for authorization to invest at least three-fourths of <br />the bond money from Lomax which was invested originally <br />• at 15 percent cannot earn more interest than was paid <br />for them.
