Meeting called to order. <br />Members of the Cit Council Present: Mayor J.J. Meza; Councilman <br />I.J. Ki o eaux; Counci man Tom C. Simons; Councilman Norman L. <br />Malone. <br />Members of the Cit Council Absent: Councilman John Tomberlin; <br />Counci woman Virginia C ine. <br />Other City Officials Present: James R. Hudgens, City Manager; <br />Knox Askins, City Attorney; Betty Waters, City Secretary; H.L. <br />Freeman, Chief of Police; Jerry Hodge, Director of Public Works; <br />John Joerns, City Engineer; Paul Hickenbottom, Fire Marshal; <br />Stan Sherwood, Parks & Recreation Director; David Paulissen, <br />Chief Inspector. <br />Others Present: Dave Corbin of Bush, Hutchison & Associates, <br />Fred Westergren, C.D. Boyle, Robert Daniels. <br />• <br />2. The invocation was given by Councilman Kibodeaux. <br />3. Mayor Meza asked if there was anyone present who wished to submit <br />a bid for the demolition of dangerous buildings, no one came <br />forward, therefore Mayor Meza declared the bid time closed. <br />Bids received prior to closing were opened and read by the City <br />Manager as follows: <br />Units 1-13 <br />U.S. Williams $17,850.00 <br />6721 London <br />Houston, Tx. 77020 <br />Olshan <br />2600 Canal <br />Houston, Tx. 77001 <br />Daniel's <br />P.O.
