Williams, Jr., P.E. <br />Senior Project Director <br />RE: Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. <br />10-Inch C02 Pipeline, La Porte, Tx. <br />PLT Job No. 1294 <br />Dear Mr. Williams: <br />With reference to your letter of July 4, 1980 requesting • <br />The following criteria shall be met during construction <br />within the City limits of La Porte. <br />a permit to construct a 10-Inch C02 Pipeline for Air Products <br />& Chemicals, Inc., I am hereby recommending full approval of <br />your project as submitted to the City of La Porte. <br />1. The Contractor must notify the City of La Porte Pub- <br />lic Works Department 24 hours prior to the crossing <br />of any city utility with the pipeline. <br />2. All crossings of streets, Street R.O.W., and improved <br />R.O.W. must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in ad- <br />vance with the City Public Works Department. <br />3. All street crossings shall be bored and cased and the <br />bore must be inspected and approved by the City Con- <br />struction Inspector. <br />• <br />4. Any damages to city facilities, utility pipelines, <br />streets. etc. shall be reported immediately and re- <br />paired at no cost to the City. Repairs must be in- <br />spected and approved by the City Construction Inspec- <br />tor, <br />S. The pipeline contractor must place a 24 hour phone • <br />number on file with both Public Works and the Inspec- <br />tion Department. <br />
