e e CUSIP Numbers e It is anticipated that CUSIP Identification numbers will be printed on These Certificates. but neither the failure to print such numbers on any Certificate. nor any error with respect thereto. shall constitute cause for a fail- ure or refusal by the purchaser thereof to accept delivery of and pay for said Certificates in accordance with terms of the purchase contract. All expenses in relation to the printing of CUSIP numbers on said Certificates shall be paid for by Moroney, Beissner . Co.. In.c, provided, however, that the CUSIP Service Bureau charge for the assignment of said numbers shall be the responsibility of and shall be paid for by the purchaser. Certification as to Official Statement At the time of payment for and delivery of the Certificates, t~e City will furnish the purchaser a certificate signed by the City Secretary and Tax Assessor-Collector, acting in their official capacity, to the effect that the "Official Statement" has been authorized and approved by the City Counell, and to the best of their know- ledge and belief after reasonable investigation: (a) neither the "Official Statement" nor any amendment or sup- plement thereto contains any untrue statement of a material fact or omits to state any material fact necessary to make the statements therein. in light of circumstances in which they were made, not misleading; (b) since the date of the "Official Statement" no event has occurred which should have been set forth in an amendment or supplement to the "Official Statement" which has not been set forth in such amendment or supplement; and (c) there has not been any material adverse change in the operation or financial affairs of the City since the date of such "Official Statement." Not an Offer to Sell This "Official Notice of Sale" does not alone constitute an offer to sell the Certificates. This "Official Notice of Sale," the "Official Bid Form." and the "Official Statement" collectively constitute the offer to sell the Certifi- cates. Prospective purchasers are urged to carefully examine the "Official Statement" and to make other in- vestigations they deem necessary to determine the investment quality of the Certificates.
