• • <br />• Minutes, Joint Public Hearing and Regular Meeting <br />April 15, 1981, Page 12 <br />Councilwoman Westergren: I don't have anything. <br />Mayor Meza: While we are still under Council action, I would <br />like to announce there is a public hearing in Clear Lake for <br />the Clear Lake Water Shed Authority that Mr. Brown is trying <br />to pursue along with representative Pennington, to have a <br />unified multi-county flood control. That will be tomorrow <br />at 4:00 P.M. at the Harris County-Galveston County Subsidence <br />District Office and that is at 1660 West Bay, I think it is <br />called Friendswood in the area where they are now. It is a <br />public hearing and I would like someone from the City to attend. <br />I will try to be there part of the time, but I have another <br />commitment after that. I would also like to remind you all <br />there is a public hearing on redistricting for the Congressional <br />Districts in the State Senatorial districts. That hearing will <br />be April 24th; there will be two hearings on that date, one <br />at 1:30 in the afternoon and the following meeting will be at <br />4:30 in the afternoon. Those are going to be held at the <br />Commissioners Court Conference Room. That's all I have. <br />If that is all the order of business for the City Council, I <br />will remind the citizens that tonight at midnight is the filing <br />deadline for your income tax. <br />I entertain a motion to adjourn. <br />12. As there was no business to discuss in Executive Session, none <br />was held. <br />13. Motion was made by Councilman Simons to adjourn. Seconded by <br />Councilman Faris.
