r~ LJ Ordinance No. 780- MMM , Page 2. • Section 4. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby accepts the recommendation of the City of La Porte Planning and i Zoning Commission, and the zoning classification of the herein- after described parcel of land, situated within the corporate limits of the City of La Porte, is hereby changed in accordance therewith, and the zoning classification of said parcel of land shall hereafter be "Light Industrial," with a special use permit under the provisions of Ordinance 780-XX, with the permissible use strictly limited to allow operation of a rail and truck-served • public warehouse/freight terminal, including rail spur, with minimum setback of thirty feet (30') from all public rights-of-way. The description of said parcel of land re-zoned is as follows, to-wit: That certain parcel of land, owned by Interamerican Public Distribution Corporation, as shown on the shaded area on a~plat attached hereto as Exhibit "D", incorporated by reference herein, and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 5. All ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed, to the extent of conflict only. Section 6. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the • date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has b8en discussed, considered and formally acted upon. The City Council further • ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting thereof.
