Box 66688 <br />Houston, Texas 77006 <br />783-1616 <br />March 20, 1981 <br />Zoning Commission <br />City of LaPorte <br />LaPorte, Texas <br />Gentlemen: <br />The undersigned is the owner of approximately 16.8898 acres of land, <br />more or less, which consists of Outlots 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 in the <br />Richard Pearsall Survey, Abstract 625, which is more particularly <br />described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto. Also attached to <br />this letter is a copy of a plat of the subject property. <br />Mr. Robert Fladeland is the owner of the adjoining Outlot 23, and it <br />• is our understanding that he has requested a change of zoning on his <br />property from "R-1" to "Commercial". <br />Our property is now also zoned "R-]" and we request that this zoning <br />classification be changed to "Commercial". The subject property is an <br />irregularly shaped tract of vacant land located at the northwest corner <br />of the intersection of Sens Road and Avenue D. Sens Road is the proposed <br />extension of Bay Area Boulevard which will eventually link this area <br />with the City of Clear Lake and NASA to the south. With the completion of <br />this thoroughfare, additional access will be available to Bayport and <br />Clear Lake City, and we believe this will increase industrial/commercial <br />growth in the vicinity of the subject property.
