Jerry Hodge, it r of Public Works <br />Mary Davis r sing/Personnel Director ' <br />Stan Sherw od, P'arks and Recreation Director <br />SUBJECT: Office Furniture For New Public Works Facility <br />After reviewing all bids submitted on the office furniture for the new Public <br />Works facility, we found that most did not meet minimum specifications. Many <br />bidders did not bid all items, bid lessor quality items, bid desks only, and <br />there were bidders that did not use the proper bid forms. <br />After evaluation of the two (2) bids that were not disqualified, it is our <br />recommendation that the City award the bid to Finger Office Furniture, in the <br />amount of THIRTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY ONE DOLLARS AND THIRTY ONE CENTS, <br />($39,431.31). <br />Justification for awarding the bid to Fingers Office Furniture is: <br />1. Delivery of all furniture will be by September 1, the <br />anticipated completion date of the Public Works facility. <br />2. Meets all specifications. <br />,Fred F. Hunter Company: <br />1. Anticipated delivery date is October 1. <br />2. Several items did not meet specifications. <br />Attached you will also find an evaluation sheet of both companies.
