Council Action: <br /> <br />Longley: Receiving complaints concerning trucks parked in <br />residential areas. Hudgens advised Longley to get addresses <br />and the Police Department would check it out. Happy to <br />report construction has begun on the cross-walk at Wilmont <br />for the school children. <br /> <br />Faris: I would like to request a Civil Service workshop. <br />There is much I need to know about Civil Service and I'm <br />told there are knowledgeable people who would be willing to <br />share their knowledge with us. <br /> <br />Simons: I am back to shipping containers. I still would <br />like to see an ordinance requiring certain measures for <br />tip downs and restricting stacking to certain heights. <br /> <br />Gay: I wish to request an executive session. <br /> <br />Skelton: Several weeks ago I requested a survey on flooding <br />and drainage around Lobit and in that area. I haven't heard <br />anything. Hodge stated he had a written report for Skelton. <br /> <br />Mayor Meza: Mayor Meza reported on a meeting he attended <br />with the Harris County Central Appraisal District. He <br />presented an ordinance that he asked be passed by Council <br />at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />25. Executive Session: <br /> <br />Council recessed into executive session at 8:38 P.M. Council <br />returned to the Council table at 9:02 P.M. <br /> <br />26. There being no further business to be brought before the <br />Council, a motion was made by Councilperson Kibodeaux to <br />adjourn at 9:05 P.M. Seconded by Councilperson Gay.
