City Attorney Askins read: AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING 'AND CLOSING A PORTION OF NORTH 12TH STREET; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. The City Secretary advised this is the portion of North 12th Street lying and being situated between Blocks 73 and 684 and between the north right-of-way line of Adams and the south right-of-way line of Tyler Street. The request is from Force Corporation and the appraisal fee and the appraised price for the street has been paid. A motion was made by Councilperson Kibodeaux to accept and approve Ordinance No. 128 as read by the City Attorney. Seconded by Councilperson Simons. None City Attorney Askins read: AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING ALL OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK SEVENTY-THREE (73), TN THE TOWN OF LA PORTS, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. A motion was made by Councilperson Kibodeaux to pass and ap- rove Ordinance No. 1286 as read by the City Attorney, closing all of the alley in Block 73 for Force Corporation. City Attorney Askins read: AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTEN- TION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS TO ANNEX ALL OF THAT CERTAIN 11.9839 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE ENOCH BRINSON SURVEY, A-5 HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AT WHICH ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SUCH HEARING BY THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF .
