We have a motion, second, and the motion has carried, <br />but I would like to say that perhaps we should put on a work- <br />shop agenda sometimes when it's not overly crowded and really <br />discuss it more thoroughly. <br />9. Council considered awarding the bid for nine (9) 55 gallon <br />drums of 91 percent malathion for mosquito control to Public <br />Health Equipment and Supply Company for $17.43 per gallon. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Westergren to award the bid <br />for 91 percent malathion to Public Health Equipment and Su - <br />ply Company for 17.43 per gallon. Second by Councilperson <br />Skelton. The motion Carrie 9 ayes and O nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />• Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />10. Council considered the recommendation of Director of Public <br />Works to award the bid for a one-ton utility vehicle to be <br />used as an equipment services vehicle to Joe Camp Ford in the <br />amount of $13,656.32. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Pfeiffer to table action on <br />this bid until such time as Mr. Hodge o tains certain informa- <br />tion he had promised concerning cost of equipment for the <br />truck, liability insurance, num er of f ats fixe last year <br />and such. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Malone. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />11. Council considered appropriating funds for Public Liability <br />Insurance on all properties owned by City of La Porte. <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Gay to enter a Public <br />Liability Insurance with Ken Strum Insurance Agency for the <br />City of La Porte for the remainder of the fiscal year and <br />appropriating 2.00 from t e - 0 Capita Improvement <br />Contingency and 18,88 .00 from t e Genera Fun Contingency <br />Reserve. Second by Councilperson Westergren. <br />
