City Attorney Askins read: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE CITY OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF (4.5 acre tract on McCabe Road) • Mayor Cline called for a motion. There was no motion forthcoming. Mayor Cline declared the issue dead for lack of a motion. 7. The City Attorney read: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE CITY OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF (23 acre tract more or less, out of Lot Thirteen (13), Staashen Subdivision, Save and Except that Portion now being Utilized by Central Freight Lines, Inc.) A motion was made by Councilperson Longley to accept and approve Ordinance No.~80-YYY as rea y City Attorney Askins. Second by Councilperson Pfeiffer. T e motion carried, 6 ayes and 3 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren Nays: Councilpersons Matuszak, Graves and Mayor Cline 8. There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was duly adjourned at 7:40 P.M. •
