The property in
question was annexed by the City of LaPorte sometime in the past and
apparently fell into the automatic R-1 zoning rating at that time. The
property is located on McCabe Road just west of its intersection with Old
Highway 146 (LaPorte-Seabrook Road) and is immediately west of an 80 foot
drainage easement and is surrounded on the west and north by a Mobile Home
Park. Other properties along McCabe Road at this point are either
developed commercially or have not yet been developed. The property is approximately 10 feet
area and is unadaptable to any residential use
property to be developed.
C~
told by someone at City
i meant that it had not
use not detrimental to
into the flood hazard
that would permit the
We have a potential sale of the property to Mr.
operates in an advisory capacity concerning environmental
in the bay area.
