<br />MEMORANDUM <br />March 5 1982 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Planning and Zoning Commission <br />• <br />SUBJECT: Request for Rezoning a 23-Acre Tract - Decker McKim <br />Planning and Z <br />by Decker McKim for <br />225 and Highway 14b <br />way 146 and extends <br />presently under use <br />terminal. <br />~ning met March 4, 1982, to consider a request <br />rezoning a 23 acre tract north of the Highway <br />intersection. The tract has frontage on High- <br />west to Strang Road. An adjacent tract is <br />by Central Freight Lines, Inca, as a truck <br />The specific request is for rezoning under Ordinance 780-XX <br />to allow oceanic container storage and repair. Since that general <br />area of the City has been approved for such use in several instances <br />recently, Planning and Zoning considers the area appropriate for <br />further such development. <br />Access to the property can be gained from Highway 146 or <br />Strang Road. There are no residences located nearby. <br />We wish to schedule a public hearing to consider this request <br />for rezoning.
