A motion was made by Councilperson [9estergren appointing <br />Don Skelton as La Forte's representative on the area Solid <br />Waste Interim Review Board. Second by Councilperson Graves. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Graves, <br />Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />6. City Attorney Askins read: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />N0. 1100, AN ORDINANCE REGULATING GAME ROOMS; PROVIDING <br />LICENSING PROCEDURES AND FEES, REGISTERING OF SKILL OR <br />PLEASURE ORIENTED COIN-OPERATED MACHINES AND PAYMENT OF OC- <br />CUPATIONAL TAX THEREON, REGULATING HOURS OF OPERATION, PRO- <br />VIDING STANDARDS FOR OPERATION, PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON <br />• VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY <br />OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED IN ANY <br />SUM NOT MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY <br />CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETING LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance No. 1100-A as read by the Ca.ty Attorney. Second by <br />Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 1 nay. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Malone, Longley, Matuszak, Pfeiffer, <br />Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: Councilperson Graves <br />7. Mayor Cline advised Council of the names that have been sub- <br />mitted by Council members to be considered for the Appraisal <br />Review Board. Those Names are as follows: <br />Fred Beck <br />Sam Sailer <br />Charles Young <br />Charles D. Boyle <br />Lawrence Farias <br />Norma Hutchins <br />Walter Springall <br />Lorraine Allen <br />Of these, five persons should be chosen to serve, three to <br />serve for a two year period and two for a one year period. <br />• <br />
