MAY 1, 1982 UNTIL APRIL 30, 1985 <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF <br />:~7hereas Article 1025, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes <br />require the City Council to designate an official newspaper for <br />the publication of legal notices. <br />NOT~J, THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS <br />Section 1. That the Bayshore Sun, a newspaper qualified <br />by law to publish legal notices and advertisements, published <br />in Harris County, Texas, be and the same is hereby named and <br />• selected as the official newspaper of the City of La Porte., Texas. <br />Section 2. That the right to terminate this designation is <br />hereby reserved by the City Council of the City of La Porte, <br />Texas. <br />Section 3.
