• • <br />• <br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />November 17, 1982, Page 5 <br />Councilperson Graves recommended workshops be moved back to <br />Wednesday nights and since. they are getting so lengthy go to <br />two a month. Council felt this matter .should wait until <br />after the first of the year. <br />Councilperson Pfeiffer asked where the new zoning ordinance <br />stood and stated t at if it was too far in the future he felt <br />Council should take some immediate action to change Industrial <br />with no smoke stack within the City. Pfeiffer commended <br />Public Works on their drainage work on the north side of town. <br />Councilperson Gay suggested steps be taken to open the feeder <br />street etween A ams and Tyler Streets. <br />Mayor Cline read a letter from the International Institute of <br />Municipal Clerks announcing that City Secretary Betty T. Waters <br />has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" <br />(letter a part of these minutes) . <br />• <br />13.
