r i <br />C7 <br />CITY OF LA PO?j.TE <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />T0: Jack Owen, City Manager DATE: January 10, 1983 <br />FROM: Jerry Hodge, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Pipeline Permit - Enterprise Products Company <br />The City of La Porte has received an application from Gullet & Associates, <br />Inc., representing Enterprise Products Company, for a permit to install <br />two (2) six (6) inch pipelines in the Old ha Porte Road rip~ht-of-way from <br />Houston~Avenue to Wanda Petroleum meter station. ..Furthe,r convexsatons'with <br />John Olson with Gullet & Associates indicate that Enterprise Products <br />Company wants to extend the line west to the ~'xxon Pipeline Corridor, <br />which is approximately thirty (30) rods west of the Wanda Petroleum <br />meter station. <br />The Public Works Department has no objection to the construction, or <br />the additional extension west. Mr. Olson will write another letter <br />to the City Secretary out7_ining proposed changes, and detailing the <br />connection to be made at the Exxon Pipeline Corridor. <br />I recommend that the City draft an ordinance granting the pipeline <br />permit for Council action. <br />If you should have any questions, please advise. <br />JH/me <br />• <br />
