He answered in the affirmative. Councilperson Westergren restated her second. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren, Malone, Longley and Mayor Cline Nays: None 6. Council considered awarding a bid for cold mix patching material. Two bids were received. Azrock was the low bidder. None Council then consented to deviate from the order of business and consider item 8, since item 7 needed to be considered in conjunction with items 9, 10, 11 and 12. 8. Council considered the request of Decker McKim to close the alleys in Blocks 1098 and 1134, Town of La Porte. City Manager Owen told Council Mr. McKim has withdrawn his request to close K Street. John Joerns had talked with r1r. McKim and Mr. Joerns asks that Council not take action on this item until some negotiations can be concluded.
