Council considered awarding a bid for insurance. A copy of <br />the proposals is attached as a part of the official minutes. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to accept staff's <br />recommendation and award the insurance bid to Texas Municipal <br />League. Second by Councilperson Skelton. The motion carried, <br />7 ayes, 0 nays, and l abstain. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer,.Gay, Skelton, Longley, <br />Matuszak, Graves and Mayor Pro-Tem Westergren <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Councilperson Malone <br />9. Council considered a Resolution authorizing budget transfers <br />to a Hurricane Emergency Fund. <br />City Attorney Askins read_Resolution 83-17 as follows: A <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND <br />• DOLLARS ($200,000.00) FROM UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS, TO BE <br />APPROPRIATED TO THE "HURRICANE ALICIA CLEANUP AND RESTORATION <br />FUND." <br />
