Second by Council- <br />person Pfeiffer. .The motion .carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Longley, Graves, Pfeiffer, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />7. Council considered approving the taxi permit application of <br />Gary Webb. <br />It was pointed out that our current taxi ordinance is very <br />out of date and that the insurance required on the taxis is <br />not nearly sufficient, and that any permits granted between <br />now and the time the new taxi ordinance is adopted should <br />have the stipulation in the permit that the insurance will be <br />brought into line.. <br />• After discussion, motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to <br />approve the taxi permit application of Gary Webb with the sti <br />lation that he carry insurance on his vehicles in the minimum <br />amount of $100,000, $200,000 and. $50,000. Second by Council- <br />person Graves. The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Longley, Graves, Pfeiffer, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />8. Council considered a resolution approving the candidates for <br />The Texas Municipal League Workers' Compensation Insurance <br />Fund Board of Trustees.. Those now serving who are up for re- <br />election are Carl L. White, R. Marvin Townsend, F. William <br />Hoermann, L. Don Dodson and Alfred H. Koebig. <br />Motion was made. by Councilperson Longley to vote to reappoint <br />the above named members of the TML Worker' Compensation Insur- <br />ance Fund Board of Trustees. Second by Councilperson Pfeiffer. <br />The motion carried, 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Longley, Graves, Pfeiffer, Skelton, <br />Westergren and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />9. Council considered awarding the annual contract for janitorial <br />supplies. <br />
