,. • <br /> <br />CONSERVATION AWARENESS TAPES <br /> <br />Basic Description <br />- Available in English and Spanish, our new taped "Energy Talks" <br />will advise customers of ways to control their energy bills. <br />- The 18 tapes may be heard Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. <br />until 7 p.m. by dialing 229-1030 in the Houston area and <br />1-800-392-5922 outside the Houston area. <br />- Topics of the tapes cover a variety of subjects which are <br />conservation related; however, other information includes ways <br />to manage electric bills better and how to obtain help in <br />meeting payments. <br />Special Program Benefits <br />- Customers may receive reliable, credible information from a <br />central source by calling "Energy Talks". <br />- The customer may call at his convenience in the comfort of <br />his own home, to obtain the information which best meets <br />his/her needs. <br />• - Since the tapes are available in both English and Spanish, <br />we can be sure that our ethnic customers may benefit from <br />the informational tapes. <br />- The fact that this is a free service demonstrates our concern <br />for helping customers at all income levels. <br />Targeted Participation <br />- During the three month period of the Governor's Plan, we <br />anticipate reaching 10,000 customers. <br />Possible Long Term Program Applications <br />- This program will continue as a special service to our customers <br />after the expiration of the Governor's Plan. <br /> <br />
