Council considered a resolution concerning Banking Institutions. <br />City Attorney Askins read: RESOLUTION 84-4 - CONCERNING <br />BANKING INSTITUTIONS. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton. to adopt Resolution <br />84-4 as read by~the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson <br />Matuszak.. The motion carried, 9 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons.Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Wester- <br />gren, Malone, Longley, Matuszak and. Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />10. Item 10, board appointments, was moved to executive session. <br />11. Council considered proposal No. 1 of the La Porte Area <br />Emergency Ambulance Corps concerning purchase of new units. <br />After a presentation by Robert Head and discussion and <br />questions from Council, motion was made by Councilperson <br />• Graves that proposal No. l~as presented by the La Porte <br />Area Emergency Ambulance Corps, with the City going out for <br />bids, be approved. Second.by Councilperson Malone. <br />Motion was made by_Councilperson Skelton to table this item <br />for a workshop and bring it back to thenext regular meeting <br />for a vote, said workshop to be held at 6:00 P.M. on May 2. <br />Second by Councilperson Matuszak. The motion carried, 6 ayes, <br />3 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay,.Skelton, Westergren, <br />Longley, Matuszak <br />Nays: Councilpersons Graves, Malone and.Mayor Cline <br />12. Council considered updating the wrecker ordinance. <br />After questions from Council and a short report from Tim <br />Dewalt, representative of the wrecker board, motion was made <br />by Councilperson Pfeiffer to table this item for further <br />stuay of rates <br />cities. Secon <br />8 ayes, 1 nay. <br />n carried, <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren, <br />Malone, Longley, Matuszak and Mayor Cline <br />• Nays: Councilperson Graves <br /> <br />I <br />
