Mayor Cline presented a plaque to Kathy Hutton, Finance <br />Department, for being named Employee of the Quarter, and <br />commended Kathy 'for her service to the City. <br />7. Council considered hiring the firm of Lloyd, Gosselink and <br />Ryan to represent the City for the sanitary landfill permit <br />application. <br />The City Attorney reported that this firm is expert in the <br />field of landfill permit applications. Such application are <br />highly technical, and the City Attorney feels the firm will <br />do an excellent job for the City. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Westergren to hire the law <br />firm of Llo d, Gosselink and Ryan to represent the Cit for <br />the sanitary landfill permit application.. Second y Council- <br />person Malone. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Skelton, Westergren, Malone, Longley, <br />Matuszak, Graves, Gay and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />9. Council considered change of street names in Brookglen Section III. <br />City Attorney Askins read: ORDINANCE 1408 - AN ORDINANCE <br />• CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN BROOKGLEN SUB- <br />DIVISION, SECTION III; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN <br />MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />There were no questions from Council regarding the contract. <br />
