<br /> <br />• Mr. Skelton: Perhaps the Council could set up a "no more than" <br />situation, so that if we could get it within that <br />amount we could go ahead and save time. <br />Mr. Malone: Also, we may have it like when you read your water <br />meter when you complain about your water meter and <br />we send a crew out there to read it and it's <br />correct, the meter is not damaged, well then the <br />customer pays for the inspection or service; and we <br />could do the same thing with the survey. <br />Mayor Cline: Councilman Gay? <br />Mr. Gay: Mayor Cline, I also feel as Mr. Pfeiffer and Mr. <br />Skelton. I also would like to have a cost on it. <br />As Mr. Skelton said a few minutes ago, it would be <br />hard, really, for Mr. Owen to; he could probably <br />give us an estimated cost on what it would cost and <br />we couldn't say if there was a certain amount to be <br />spent on this project, because it could exceed <br />$3,000, it could exceed $7,000. So we, as a body, <br />right now couldn't give him this amount of <br />expenditures to spend on it, so I would like for <br />Mr. Owen, if it's possible, to give us an estimated <br />• input of some kind. <br />Mayor Cline: O.K., Mr. Owen? <br />Mr. Owen: Yes. May I offer a suggestion on this? I would <br />propose that next week, if we have a quorum, that <br />we have a workshop anyway next week. And at that <br />time we could come back to you, I feel sure, with a <br />survey cost estimate. <br />Mayor Cline: All right, sir. Any other comments from the <br />Council? All right. The construction work will be <br />held up until Mr. Owen can look into the cost of <br />getting the area surveyed, and we'll come back to <br />the Council next week prior with our workshop. <br />Mr. Wester- <br />gren: I appreciate you for your time and discussion. <br />Thank you. <br />Mayor Cline: Thank you, Mr. Westergren.
