• • ,~ ~ • RESOLUTION NO. 84-17 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FOR AIRPORT PROJECT NO. 3-48-0127-02 WHEREAS, the City of La Porte, Texas (termed SPONSOR herein), and the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administra- tion (FAA), desire to enter into a certain Grant Agreement which provides Federal participation in an Airport Improvement Project for the La Porte Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, in response to a request duly filed by SPONSOR, • the FAA has prepared said Grant Agreement, a copy of which is attached, and has submitted it to SPONSOR for acceptance and execution; and WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the interest of SPONSOR and FAA to accept said Grant Agreement; ~~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T.HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of La Porte does hereby accept the provisions of said Grant Agreement for Project No. 3-48-0127-02. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of La Porte is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Grant Agreement for and on behalf of the City of La Porte.
