December 19, 1984, Page 13 Councilperson Pfeiffer requested that the City Manager provide Council with a list of those persons who served on the Charter Revision Committee, so Council would have some idea of who to recommend for the redistricting committee. 21. Administrative Reports The City Manager commended Council on getting through a lengthy agenda in only tW9 hours; they did an excellent job. The workshop meeting tentatively scheduled for the 9th of January will now be held January 14. Everyone is urged to attend if at all possible, as this is the meeting at which the capital improvement committee will be making their report to Council. 22. Council Action ~Li~g~~: Inquired about the light at Brookwood and Fairmont Parkway. The City Secretary informed her that a purchase order will be sent to HL&P as soon as the paperwork could be . done. Commended the EMS, fire and police departments on their prompt actions on December 13. It was a tragedy, but it was remarkable to see all the departments working hand in hand as well as they did, and they are to be commended for their efforts. Mr. Owen added that we are very proud of the job they did, and are very sorry they couldn't have gotten there in time to save the little girl. Matuszak: Inquired about the light at Cottonwood and Fairmont Parkway. The City Secretary replied that that one is next on the list and an authorization letter had been sent to HL&P. Requested that more backup material be put in the agenda packets or in the Council boxes, especially on items such as the Turner Collie & Braden payment. He would like to see invoices, copies of minutes, etc., dealing with the subject. He questioned what procedures are used when A & E's invoice the City, and what kind of back-ups the City requires.
