Council considered an ordinance amending the City of La Porte <br />Electrical Ordinance. <br />Councilperson Skelton requested tagging this item until the <br />March 6 meeting. <br />7. Council considered changing two street names. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to change the name <br />of "F" Street to Magna Street and "G" Street to Flow Street. <br />(This will involve only the blocks -in the vicinity of Magna <br />Flow Industries.) The motion was seconded by Councilperson <br />Skelton. The motion carried, 5 ayes and 3 nays. <br />(Councilperson Gay had arrived at the Council table at 6:08.) <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton and <br />Westergren <br />Nays: Councilpersons Bridges, Waters and Mayor Cline <br />of 8. Council considered the following consent agenda: <br />A. Change Order #1 - Cleaning, Televising and Point Repair <br />Project <br />B. City participation on a 12" waterline extension along <br />Fairmont Parkway from Farrington Blvd. to Jennie Reid <br />School <br />C. Vehicle and equipment bids: <br />1. 3/4 ton pickup truck <br />2. 3/4 ton pickup with work box <br />3. 6 cubic yard diesel dump truck and authorize transfer <br />of $2,856.91 from water/wastewater contingency fund for <br />items 2 and 3 <br />4. Wheel loader with backhoe <br />5. Motor grader <br />6. Slope mower attachment <br />7. Two auxiliary diesel engines for water wells 1A & 3 <br />8. Repair and rehabilitation of backhoes <br />9. Two 3/4 ton, long wheelbase pickups and authorize <br />appropriation of $710.00 from motor pool replacement <br />fund <br />0 10. 5/8 ton pickup with 8' bed <br />11. Four door sedan and authorize appropriation of <br />$303.87 from motor pool replacement fund <br />
