Second by Councilperson <br />Westergren. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Matuszak, Pfeiffer, Gay, <br />Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />11. Council considered a resolution opposing deductibility of <br />state and local taxes from Federal income tax. <br />The City Attorney read: RESOLUTION 85-16 - OPPOSING THE <br />ADMINISTRATION'S PROPOSAL ELIMINATING THE DEDUCTIBILITY OF <br />STATE AND LOCAL TAXES FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gav to adopt Resolution 85-16 <br />as read by the City Attornev. Second by Councilperson <br />Westergren. <br />~ot~nn was made by Councilperson Pfeiffer to amend the <br />~~cnli~tinn to include the statement "excegt state and local <br />income taxes". Second by Councilperson Matuszak.
