• <br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />October 28, 1985, Page 4 <br />Motion was made by Councilpersos Matuszak to approve change <br />order ~~1 for the Battlegrounds Vista_sanitary sewer .prQ.iect. <br />Second by Councilperson Waters. The motion carried, 7 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd, Matuszak, Waters, <br />Pfeiffer, Skelton and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />11. Council considered approving the statement of intent filed by <br />Amoco Gas Company to change the rates charged Air Products and <br />Chemicals, Inc. <br />Mr. Bob Lemons of Amoco was present and reviewed the request <br />of Amoco. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve the <br />statement of intent filed by Amoco Gas Company to_change the <br />rates charged Air Products and Chemicals. Inc., to be <br />retroactive to October 1, 1985. Second by Councilperson <br />Walker. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd, Matuszak, Waters, <br />Pfeiffer, Skelton and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />12. Council considered approving an annual contract for purchase <br />of tires. <br />~~-~7, wr~~cn approves purcnase ot- tires through the State <br />Purchasing and General Services_Commission. Second by <br />Councilperson Pfeiffer. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Walker, Lloyd, Matuszak, Waters, <br />Pfeiffer, Skelton and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />The Emergency Addendum item was then addressed: To consider <br />resolutions to be voted on at the Texas Municipal League <br />meeting. <br />After discussion, Council set a breakfast meeting for Thursday <br />morning, October 31, to consider the resolutions and give <br />Councilperson Skelton their recommendations so he could cast <br />their vote at the resolutions committee meeting. <br />
