• • <br />Docket No. 6765 <br />APPLICATION FOR HOUSTON X PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION <br />LIGHTING & POL7ER COMPANY X OF TEXAS <br />FOR AUTHORITY TO CHANGE RATES <br />STIPULATION <br />TO THE HONORABLE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION OF TEXAS: <br />WHEREAS, Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) on March 18, <br />1986 filed ari application for Rate Relief that is the subject of this <br />docket: and <br />WHEREAS, on March 18, 1986 HL&P also made a filing for rate <br />relief with the City of La Porte (the City); and <br />WHEREAS, The City ordinance on April 14, 1986 denied HL&P's <br />application; and <br />W:~iEP.EAS, HL&P has appealed the action of the City to this <br />Conulission, where the appeal has been consolidated with this docket; <br />acid <br />WHEREAS, the City is now in agreement that rates adopted by the <br />City of Houston in its Ordinance No. 86-984 on June 18, 1986 are just <br />and reasonable; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, HL&P and the City, through their undersigned <br />representatives, hereby agree and stipulate as follows: <br />I. <br />HL&P and the City stipulate and agree to the dismissal of HL&P's <br />appeal from the rate action of the City. <br />II. <br />HL&P agrees to file, and the City agrees by necessary action of <br />its City Council to approve,~rate schedules identical to those filed <br />with the City of Houston pursuant to Ordinance No. 86-984. <br />
