Second by Councilperson Pfeiffer. <br />The motion carried, 7 ayes and 2 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Matuszak, Porter, Pfeiffer, <br />Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: Councilpersons Lloyd and Gay <br /> <br />17. Council considered awarding a bid to rebuild two hydraulic <br />brush picker units. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Westergren to award the bid <br />to rebuild two hYdraulic brush Dicker units to Modern Machine <br />and Hvdraulics in the amount of $15,000. Second by <br />Councilperson Waters. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, Westergren and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Council took a short break at 8:25 P.M., reconvening at 8:37 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />18. Workshop Items: <br /> <br />The City Manager gave a short tax presentation. <br /> <br />John Joerns, Director of Community Development, presented a <br />report on the proposed restoration of Sylvan Beach Pavilion. <br /> <br />It was requested by Councilperson Matuszak that more <br />information be brought to a workshop on August 18. <br /> <br />19. There was no administrative report. <br /> <br />20. Council Action: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, <br />Porter, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton and Westergren brought items to <br />Council's attention. <br /> <br />21. There being no further business to come before the Council, <br />the meeting was duly adjourned at 10:05 P.M. <br />
