• • <br />tdithin ninety (90) days from the adoption of the <br />Affirmative Action Plan by the City Council, the Human <br />Resources Division shall prepare a plan outlining <br />training courses and staff development programs needed to <br />meet the City's Affirmative Action goals. This Plan <br />shall incorporate existing courses and programs, as well <br />as develop new ones. Project staffing and fiscal needs <br />J <br />required to implement the training and st2~ff development <br />programs shall also be addressed. _~ _ <br />L•Iithin sixty (60) days of its completion, the training <br />plan shall be presented to the City Manager for review <br />and to the City Council for approval and implementation. <br />r <br />All supervisors and executive staff will receive training <br />in comprehensive aspects of affirmative action/equal <br />employment opportunity within two (2) years. <br />1. The Hurnan Resources Division will be responsible for <br />the developr.~ent of EEO training programs for all <br />supervisors and executive personnel. Attendance will <br />be required of all supervisory personnel. <br />2. Annual performance ~ evaluations will include <br />participation in the EEO program. <br />VI. RECRUITMENT <br />The Hurnan Resources Division will initiate a vigorous <br />recruitment effort to bring into City employment <br />qualified and qualifiable minorities, females, and <br />persons with handicaps. Recruitment efforts will be <br />conducted in, but not limited to the Texas Ernployment <br />Commission, the Texas Rehabilitation Commission, <br />minority organizations, women's organizations, <br />organizations dealing with handicapped persons, veterans' <br />
