Motion was made bY Councilperson Skelton to adopt Ordinance 1550 as read bY the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone Nays: None 19. Council considered an ordinance approving amendment to City of La Porte FY 1986-87 Budget. The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1515-B - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1515, AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 1986, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1987; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to adopt Ordinance 1515-B as read by the City Attorney. Second by Councilperson Matuszak. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. The Ordinance has been corrected to reflect this number. 21. Council considered approving the 1987 agreement between Harris County and the City of La Porte for Fire Protection Services.
