Ford and Albert Pravda to San Jacinto Junior <br />College District, 14.2442 acres; <br />Dear Mr. Askins <br />Please be advised that San Jacinto Junior College District is <br />purchasing one tract of land from Donald F. Ford et al. The <br />tract is a 14.2442 acre tract out of a 15.5062 acre tract, <br />lying in the William M. Jones Survey, Abstract No. 482, Harris <br />County, Texas. <br />You will note that there is a one foot fee strip, as known in <br />the plat in volume 198, page 76, Harris County Map Records, <br />adjacent to Luella Boulevard. <br />I am also enclosing a statement from the Map Records showing <br />the one foot strip dedication easement. I have been in <br />conversation with Mr. Leukte of Stewart Title Company in <br />connection with the purchase of 17 acres West of Luella and <br />near Spencer Highway, and in order for them to remove an <br />exception that there is no access to the tract of land, they <br />request that the City of LaPorte abandon the easement that is <br />present and we take a general Warranty Deed from the present <br />owners of the property. <br />We would appreciate you presenting this to the City officials <br />so that at the next board meeting we can consummate this <br />transaction. <br />Also, enclosed is a copy of the plat of the 14.2442 acre tract <br />showing the one foot easement adjoining Spencer. I have also <br />enclosed a copy of the legal description of the one foot <br />
