Gillett epartment: Report Resolution Exhibits: July 2, 1987 Minutes - La Porte Area Water Authority Recommendation for Survey Services Survey Proposal Letter from Coast Water Authority SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION On July 2, 1987, the Board of Directors of the La Porte Area Water Authority authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract, not to exceed $10,500, to have the necessary surveying performed in order to apply for an easement in the Coastal Water Authority R.O.W. between West Main (Spencer) and the proposed Southeast Water Purification Plant. This easement is necessary to deliver water from the plant to the Authority's customers. Because the "take-point" at the Southeast Water Purification Plant was not established at ,that time, the Board authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with the firm that was the lowest price for the given scope of work. The "take-point" has been clarified with the City of located at the east property line of the plant at its the C.W.A. R.O.W. As recommended and approved by the Authority, the firm selected to perform the work with located at the property line of the plant is Baseline the amount of $8,900.00.
